Rainy Day Giving You the Blues?
Well… If the rain is keeping you from going outside, head over to Diesel CafeĀ and pick up some fresh baked pastries, muffins and quiche made by Mariposa Bakery and you’ll be feeling great. Well, that’s how I would imagine it anyway. This morning I woke to the subtle sound of rain on the grape vines out my bedroom window and the smell of rain was everywhere. Although I got wet pretty quick, I am glad we are getting the rain and the plants have something to drink. They have it tough out there being surrounded by pavement, packed dirt and who knows how many dogs conducting their business. Enough said, but I think the trees in the city have it especially hard when it comes to getting water. Hopefully the rain this week will help our farmers too.
The produce this season has been gorgeous and I hope everyone is taking advantage of all the affordable food grown right here in Massachusetts. Chefs are coming up with some really great recipes out there that areĀ solely made up of Local foods and guess what? We deliver! Some places to check out if you live in the area… Pulse Cafe in Davis, Beacon Hill Bistro downtown, Tremont 647, South End, Diesel Cafe in Davis, Ten Tables (Harvard and JP) and of course there’s always your local Farmer’s market!!! They even have a helpful email reminder if you are one that enjoys reminders. Best of luck staying dry and if you choose to stay in; cook, draw, listen to good music, read a book and call us up for delivery of these items to your door!!!
