Yesterday morning I got up feeling much better in the ankle department and did my Petsi Pie deliveries as usual. It was gross and sticky out, the weather horrific in humidity because it was supposed to be thunderstorms any minute. I swung over to City Hall afterward and made my appearance for Bike Week Breakfast, boy was it worth it!

John was there with another Metro Pedal Power trike delivering all the Iggys Bread donations for the breakfast, and just about everyone else in the Boston bike community was there as well. I did a lot of networking with great people like Urban Adventours, Cliff Bar, Mass Bike, and was even interviewed by the news about Metro Pedal Power! It was great to talk to so many people about what we do, why we do it, and encouraging them to sign up for CSAs.  Speaking of CSAs, starting June 1st I will be delivering for one every Monday all Summer/Fall.   My buddy Ian from Bicycle Benefits popped into the bike shop but I missed him due to being at the Bike Week Breakfast/Festival. We’ll have to meet up soon before he goes off again doing his advocacy.

I then spent the day hanging out with my grandparents and came back into the city to go to the Open Bicycle Art Gallery Opening. Today I’m working at the shop all day, afterward I will be at the Geekhouse Open House, hope to see everyone there!
