I spent part of the morning with a Boston University graduate student whom photographed my messenger lifestyle including breakfast (vegan chili) and stretching (yoga) in the morning at home and then getting the work bike ready at H.Q.  She also came over to Boston Organics photographing me getting my deliveries ready and me doing actually deliveries in Charlestown.

I have officially been initiated as a Boston bicycle messenger. I was already initiated as a Boston bicycle commuter years ago, but Friday I had my first bicycle/automobile accident.  With only 5 deliveries left for the day a car backed out of its driveway into me taco’ing one of the wheels. I was fine, I didn’t fall off the bike and did an excellent job deescalating the situation and keeping everyone cool and calm. Erik brought me a new bike and I finished my deliveries still with enough time to enjoy the afternoon. Short post, a few days late, but hey its been a busy weekend hanging out with the grandparents.
